Kids don't think of tech like we do..

I found this graphic on the web and thought I would share.. After a few presentations to staff and administration regarding technology in the classroom my objective was to have staff think of technology as a TOOL only.

Using technology in front of your students (Smartboards) and treating the technology as, 'the coolest thing ever' guarantees that the kids will think otherwise. Kids are not 'wowed' by your use of technology any more than the shop-teacher's use of a band saw. It's just a tool to them.
